BI Expert with 10 years of experience (Specializing in SAP Analytics Cloud) The BI Expert will serve as a technical expert, responsible for solving technical blockers and providing guidance to development teams. The role will primarily focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and require in-depth knowledge of the platform. The BI Expert will collaborate closely with the development teams, actively participating in Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and PI planning. Additionally, the role will involve engaging with SAP development teams and demonstrating a good understanding of SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert and provide guidance to development teams regarding SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical blockers, ensuring smooth development processes.
- Participate actively in Agile methodologies, specifically Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including PI planning, backlog refinement, and sprint ceremonies.
- Engage with SAP development teams, effectively communicating requirements, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business needs and translate them into technical requirements and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain SAC reports, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Design, develop, and implement data models and ETL processes to support efficient and scalable data integration.
- Perform data analysis, identify trends, and present findings to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in SAC, SAP S/4HANA, and related technologies, and
- proactively share knowledge with the team.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a BI expert or a similar role.
- Extensive experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and expertise in its features, capabilities, and technical aspects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and experience in PI planning.
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to communicate effectively with SAP development teams.
- Proven track record of solving complex technical problems and providing guidance to development teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong programming skills, including SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross[1]functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work independently, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred skills, competencies & certifications:
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) certification.
- Experience with other SAP products, such as SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP BusinessObjects (BO), or SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
- Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe Agilist)
