Job Description

Role:Manager - Inventory Loss Optimization

Team: Business Finance

Reporting:Director

Location: Gurgaon (Work From Office - Monday to Friday)Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Loss Management:
    • Monitor inventory losses across different stages: warehouses, dark stores, in-transit, and final deliveries.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
    • Collaborate with business teams to design and implement solutions to minimize losses and drive operational excellence.
    • Proactively identify new risk areas and opportunities as the business evolves.
  • Inventory DoI (Days of Inventory) and Working Capital Management:
    • Analyze high-DoI SKUs and collaborate with business teams to strategize control measures or clearance plans.
    • Track and review monthly working capital performance, highlighting trends and deviations.
    • Work with business teams to identify opportunities for working capital optimization, ensuring corrective actions are implemented as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified CA (ICAI) with MINIMUM 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in Business Finance in an E-commerce, retail or FMCG company ONLY
  • Prior experience in Inventory Loss Optimization, Working Capital Management, Cost Optimization etc.
