Role Description

Cost Analysis: Understanding and managing costs related to production, procurement, and overhead to ensure efficiency.

Variance Analysis: Analyzing the differences between actual results and forecasts or budgets and providing insights for corrective action.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acting as a liaison between finance and other departments (e.g., operations, production) to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.

Stakeholder Communication: Reporting financial performance, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.

Operational Efficiency: Identifying inefficiencies in operations (e.g., procurement, production processes) and recommending cost-saving measures.

Inventory Management: Collaborating with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce wastage, and improve working capital efficiency.

Pricing Strategy: Working with sales and marketing to design pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

Margin Improvement: Driving initiatives to improve product margins through cost reductions, pricing changes, or process improvements.

Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reporting: Preparing financial statements, P&L reports, and management reports to track financial performance.

Revenue tracking, quality of revenue, Discount tracking and setting up control measures for the same

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 4-5 Years of experience working in Business Finance, Planning or FP&A role.
• Experience in food an added advantage
• Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements
• Strong Communication skills
• Accounting proficiency
• Knowledge of financial software and tools
