Job Overview:
WellBe Healthcare is a leading distributor of innovative healthcare technologies, focusing on blood bank equipment, medical refrigeration, lab equipment, and patient care solutions. As a Business Development Trainee, you will support our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and assisting with strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the healthcare industry.
- Support the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Assist in creating and executing strategic plans to penetrate new markets, focusing on healthcare institutions, labs, and hospitals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, hospitals, and labs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and manage follow-ups.
- Support negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and clients to secure deals.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics and provide feedback for business improvement.
- Assist in organizing and participating in healthcare expos, trade shows, and events to showcase products.
- Work closely with senior management to develop business strategies for WellBe's key product lines.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Development, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA candidates preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for identifying business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn about the healthcare sector.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
