As a Team Lead for Business Development Associates (BDA), you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 5 to 10 BDAs to drive business growth and meet sales targets. Your primary focus will be on achieving the sales target numbers by guiding, mentoring, and coaching the team. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment of BDAs efforts with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Ownership of Sales Numbers:

  • Take full ownership of the team's sales numbers and revenue targets.
  • Develop a results-driven mindset within the team, emphasizing accountability and ownership of individual and collective sales goals.
  • Implement strategies to drive consistent performance and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales activities and maintaining a relentless focus on achieving results.

Team Management and Motivation:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, instilling a sense of urgency and commitment to achieving sales objectives.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to consistently perform at their best, recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment where each member feels empowered to contribute to the team's success.
  • Address any performance issues or challenges promptly and constructively, providing guidance and support to help team members improve.

Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales strategies based on performance data and market feedback.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including but not limited to revenue, conversion rates, pipeline growth, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in sales performance and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous performance improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support sales efforts and drive customer value.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales objectives, priorities, and strategies.
  • Facilitate open communication within the team, encouraging feedback, idea sharing, and knowledge exchange to enhance collective performance.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Lead efforts to build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners, driving loyalty and long-term revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with BDAs to identify customer needs, overcome objections, and deliver exceptional value propositions.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout the sales process

Who can apply

  • 56 years of experience in Sales (Construction and Home interior industry experience preferred)
  • Someone who has done sales large ticket sales through Video Demo. (Edtech, Adtech)
  • Minimum 2 years of Team handling experience.
  • Ability to cope with a fast-paced working environment
  • Analytical and data-based decision making skills
  • Ability to hit the ground and problem solve on priority
  • Identifies builds and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally
  • Achieves a good result through a well-planned approach
