We are looking for a Business Development Support team member to join our sales team in India. This role can be worked on a remote basis, or if you are located closer to the office in Thane, you are welcome to work onsite. If you are have previously worked within sales or business development, are confident cold calling and have an interest in the agricultural world, this role could be perfect for you!

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will gain a broad understanding of Kynetec. You will support the Business Development manager and Senior Director with sales activities and help grow our client base.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns, use LinkedIn to identify sales opportunities, demonstrating a well-mannered approach even in rejection scenarios
  • Assist in conducting thorough research to identify potential clients and market trends, particularly within the agriculture industry
  • Support in creating and implementing tailored strategies to attract and engage new clients
  • Conduct initial outreach to potential clients through emails and follow-up communications, showcasing resilience and professionalism
  • Provide comprehensive product/service information and address inquiries from potential clients, demonstrating expertise in the agriculture sector
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and negotiate customized solutions for clients
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales data in CRM software, with a keen eye for detail
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships, leveraging negotiation skills to navigate objections and concerns effectively
  • Support in organizing and attending meetings with clients or prospects, demonstrating confidence and professionalism
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve products/services and customer experience, showing adaptability and a customer-centric approach
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, particularly within the agriculture sector
  • Analyze sales data proficiently using excellent Excel skills and prepare reports for management review
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager, showcasing versatility and a willingness to contribute in various capacities
  • Assist in preparing and delivering compelling proposal presentations using excellent PowerPoint skills to potential clients

Skills required:

  • Proven work experience in a support role within business development or sales, preferably in the agriculture industry
  • Degree in Business Administration or similar field, demonstrating advanced qualifications and understanding of business principles
  • Familiarity with various sales techniques and strategies, coupled with a resilient and well-mannered demeanour in rejection scenarios
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate objections and close deals successfully
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently and maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping and documentation, ensuring meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn, coupled with a proactive approach to personal and professional development
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and analyze data effectively
