Location - Assam / Delhi

Position Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist at a Howwl located in Delhi and Assam India. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lead generation, market research, and customer service. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams and clients to identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients, industries, and markets to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and prospects through networking, cold calling, targeted outreach, and leveraging online platforms such as LinkedIn and other industry forums.
  • Utilize social media channels effectively to engage with prospects, share thought leadership content, and build brand awareness for Splat Studio.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including corporate clients, advertising agencies, event planners, and entertainment industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to tailor pitches and proposals that showcase Splat Studio's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to secure profitable partnerships and projects.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies and positioning.
  • Drive the development and execution of marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and participation in industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Knowledge of various marketing tools such as email marketing, SEO auditing tools etc.
  • Implement lead generation strategies such as content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and sponsored events to attract and convert prospects into clients.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline status, social media engagement, and lead generation activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles, preferably within the media, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and project engagements.
