Meraki is looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to identify, nurture, and grow strategic partnerships and business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding Merakis client base across different sectors, with a focus on educational institutions, corporates, and individual learners. This role will also include the creation of new revenue streams and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy and Development:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams.
Develop and execute growth strategies to meet Merakis sales targets.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential clients.
2. Lead Generation and Sales:
Generate and qualify leads from educational institutions, corporate sectors, and other potential partners.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
Create tailored pitches and proposals that highlight Merakis value propositions.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers at schools, companies, and other institutions.
Attend meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote Meraki.
Negotiate and close deals to bring new clients on board.
4. Partnership Building:
Identify potential collaborations with third-party organizations to enhance Merakis product offerings.
Negotiate terms and manage partnerships to create mutually beneficial relationships.
5. Brand Positioning and Expansion:
Work with the marketing team to ensure brand visibility and positioning in the target market.
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness.
Promote Merakis unique selling propositions (USPs) to build credibility and trust with clients.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
Track and report on key business development metrics such as lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market conditions, challenges, and opportunities.
Analyze the performance of different business strategies and adjust tactics as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Experience working in the education or corporate training sector is a plus.
Skills:
Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Strategic thinking and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
