Job Purpose
- Business Development & Sales Manager will spearhead initiatives to develop and maintain relationships with Authorities, Clients, Partners, and key stakeholders in the Indian market related to Ethylene, Refining , Petrochemicals technology portfolio of organization.
- The role focuses on fostering opportunities & order intake for projects utilizing Technip Energies proprietary technologies, particularly in fossil and sustainable fuels and chemicals, including Ethylene, circularity, and Refining.
- Defined & staretgize , sale desired business model with Indian clients in line with T.EN's long term statergy.
- Manage key contacts with client to close business deals.
About the Job
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Gather and share market intelligence related to clients, partners, competitors, and local market specifics.
- Establish and maintain relationships with national stakeholders, clients, and partners through regular visits.
- Monitor prospects, identify targets, and provide advanced information to establish commercial strategies.
- Define and validate commercial strategies, including internal and external partnerships.
- Lead pre-tendering strategy meetings and compliance activities.
- Negotiate Partnering Agreement principles and TSAs with clients.
- Preparation for prequalification in line with client requirements and commercial strategy
Sales Management:
- Prepare and lead gate meetings to obtain approval to tender.
- Act as the focal point with external stakeholders.
- Lead preparation and negotiation of contract agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Technip Energies principles and guidelines.
- Provide commercial guidance and support to the proposal team during proposal preparation and negotiation phases.
- Organize internal meetings to ensure alignment and resolve specific topics ahead of gate meetings and submission dates.
- Provide commercial inputs for SUBMIT & SIGN meetings
Essentials:
- Extensive experience in business development and sales management of technology / licensing of ethylene cracker / Refining & Petrochmeicals units with substantial experience in the energy sector.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering with technical understanding with 12-15 years of experience in Industry.
- Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in multicultural environments.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
- Result oriented approach and ability to deliver targets.
- Learning agility & Ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with active listening and analytical abilities.
- Experience with licensed process technologies and their commercial aspects.
- High ability to understand market inteligence and integration of information for complete sector.
- End to end experience of complete sales cycle with contract closure in timley manner.
About You
- Experience in Process Technology Licensing, Ethylene, Petrochemicals, Biofuels, SAF, Carbon Capture.
- Familiarity with energy industry commercial structures, contracts, and approval cycles.
- Existing relationships in key client organizations.
- Experience related to ethylene production or derivatives.
