Overview. Job Description: As an Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team in acquiring new business clients and nurturing existing relationships within the business-to-business (B2B) sector. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base. Business Development: Identify potential clients and partnerships through market research, networking, and prospecting. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to generate leads and opportunities. Client Engagement: Understand the needs and challenges of B2B clients and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to win new business and maintain customer satisfaction. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from prospecting to closure. Track sales metrics, analyze data, and prepare accurate forecasts to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and deliver exceptional value to clients.
Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate changes and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth and market expansion. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Uphold ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and professionalism within the sales team.
Qualifications. Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. 7-10 years of Proven experience in B2B sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding. sales targets.
Accounting industry exposure would be a plus. Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a sales. team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth. Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the B2B sales process, market dynamics, and industry best practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Additional Requirements. Availability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules and sales activities.
