Job Description

  • A customer-oriented problem-solver who can identify the potential customers for Schrodinger software sales, identify their software requirements, generate quotes, quote to the requirement of tenders, handle negotiation, terms, procurement, and legal processes.
  • Follow Up with them post sales payment collection.
  • Coordinate with the Software architect to make sure the software is installed and with the scientists to provide the training and support etc.
  • An excellent communicator and team player
  • A self-sufficient multitasker with good organizational skills who can perform well under pressure
  • A highly-motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

What you ll do:

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business in software business development.
  • Oversee, nurture and grow existing service accounts.
  • Work with the account management, application science and finance teams to support accounts needs.
  • Produce timely and accurate business reports and revenue forecasts.
  • Travel to customers, as well as represent and promote Schr dinger at conferences, workshops.

What you should have:

  • A relevant degree in life sciences.
  • At least two - three years of experience in Account Management or Business Development in the scientific software (or related) industry.
  • Outstanding customer relationship and management abilities.
  • Experience in selling life science software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with computational chemistry software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Netsuite) is a plus.
