The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, creating, and nurturing business opportunities to drive growth and increase revenue for the company.
The role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Conducting and Monitoring Demo plots Assessment.
To conduct farmer meetings across assigned territory.
To handle product promotions activities among farmers, dealers.
To prepare product training manuals for the field staff
To attend customer related issues and close the matter
Identify, manage exhibitions, dealer programs, etc.
Provide support to Agronomist activities
Reporting to Local or regional line manager
Develop and drive product strategy. Ensure the profitability of portfolio and dominate market share.
Market Research: Identification & development of potential customers; maintaining customer & Competitors database.
Introduction & Launching of New Products: To coordinate with R&D and Production Team for Development, Preparation of marketing Dossier, Sampling, Time frame for Launching and commercialization.
Monthly report preparation/presentation. Generation of monthly MIS report related to product given. Monthly Revenue forecast and Planning

Qualification & Experience
B.Sc - Agriculture /M.Sc Agri and MBA
Minimum 2 to 7 Years of experience in Sales of Agrochemicals/ Pesticides & Fertilizer/Chemicals or related Agricultural Products.
Knowledge of Crop Pattern & Pest Control.
Knowledge of Seasonal Crops, Pesticides, Fertilizers, Agrochemicals
