Opportunity Overview

  • Each Assigned Business Development Manager (BDM) has custom targets which are a combination of identifying and successfully on-boarding as customer.
  • Identify potential new customers with whom UR and our partners have not previously engaged in the business process, facilitate and support to complete the first time transactions and transition the customer to a capable distributor / business partner for on-going and continual business relationship, and necessary customer supports.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting to develop the business and achieve targets
  • Engage the business enablement resources to ensure a healthy pipeline
  • Achieve business targets and quotas in the designated area
  • Interpret customer needs, assess the full requirement and identify solutions
  • Facilitate high value visits with end users, key and prospective customers ending in a sale
  • Representing the UR brand and vision, and demonstrate values at customer visits and events
  • Ability to travel more than 70% of days a year for customer intimacy and business expansions.

  • Minimum +8 years successful track record of sales of technical products and solutions to end user customers / OEMs / channels, developing sales strategies, ideal candidate's experience includes indirect sales
  • Documented success over multiple years reaching business targets of about +3M USD
  • Experience with structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management
  • Industry experience desired from a similar role in the Automation industry; prior experience selling components provide additional advantage
  • Experience managing complex client relationships required
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in influencing behaviors for team members
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to modify plans on demand based on changing input.
  • Relevant experience and customer-focus attitude is more important than education, however, an ideal candidate will have a least an educational background at a Bachelor's level in the field of Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical engineering with flair for Automation, desired to have Management programs in business
  • The positions are open for Pune, and Gurgaon / New Delhi / NCR (National Capital Region)
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
