Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. From loose cartons for consolidation and palletised cargo to moving dangerous goods and bulk commodities, we have the experience, the infrastructure, and the global network to get freight moving across towns, across countries and across continents.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing function based in Chennai.

As the Business Development Manager, you will:

Drive Revenue Growth of the Corporate / Regional Accounts by ensuring appropriate collaboration across all functions & Products.
Focus on selling end to end & Value-added solutions across all products according to the strategic priorities key to Corporate Sales.
Increase Market Penetration of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:


Use VIEW for all opportunities, including timely entry and assignment of sales cycle, setting correct volumes and GR / GP Projections.
Review Pipeline, Performance, down trading, loss making and newly gained accounts and project revenue on quarterly basis and take corrective actions where applicable.
Attending weekly / monthly review meetings with Country & Regional Sales Leadership. Ensure that day to day activities embrace sustainability, health and safety environment in the work place.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Any Graduate with at least 5 8years experience in Sales and Business development
Preferably having experience of Freight Forwarding company
