Job Description

Significantly increase the volume of business offering company s Service Portfolio & Solutions by prospecting business potential from the Accounts.
This person would be responsible for lead generation, achieving profit and value maximization, organizing & directing a multidiscipline pursuit team to develop strategic sales deliverables. Developing client relationships, ensuring sales process close-out procedures comply with organisational policies.

Proven account and relationship management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance business relationships.

Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.

Requirements / Qualifications:


College Degree and minimum of 4-6 years work experience in MICE / EVENTS, travel or hospitality ideally in a BD environment.
Must be Proactive, Enthusiastic, highly self-motivated, Goal oriented and Results-driven.
Must achieve the appointment goals assigned and help in building the sales Pipeline.
Must be task oriented and focused in approach to meet the timelines.
Strong sales, analytical, organization, communication and people skills required.
Working knowledge of MICE revenue / Event sales management is preferred.
Should be a Team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.
Professional get it done attitude and work ethic.
Strong organisational skills are important along with keen attention to detail.
Must be flexible and adaptable to work requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Sales and Business Development
Build and maintain customer relationships with the objective of generating sales leads.
All selling activity, targets and sales plans.
Working on other ad-hoc projects as required by the business.
Meet account growth targets set by management for the assigned market/account.
Create and maintain leads and target lists for potential new customers.
Work with reporting manager to complete assigned sales projects.
