Job Description

As aSr. Business Development Executive/ Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and nurturing new business opportunities in the IT sector. With a deep understanding of the sales cycle and a passion for sales, you will drive results and inspire the team to achieve sales excellence. Experience in blockchain or related technology sectors is a plus and will be highly regarded.

Location: Madurai.

Job type: On - site.

Candidates from in and around Madurai are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the IT industry, with a focus on building high-impact engagements and driving growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed business growth targets.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through deal closure, optimizing processes for effective results.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Mentor and inspire the sales team, promoting a passionate, results-driven work culture and encouraging ongoing professional development.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive positioning, with a particular focus on blockchain if relevant.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics to senior management, using data to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales within the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the full sales cycle and a demonstrated ability to close deals successfully.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Experience in blockchain or related emerging technologies is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a capacity for data-driven decision-making.
