Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This individual will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. The BDM will work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment in achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective clients, conduct meetings and presentations, and close deals. Build long-term relationships with key clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define strategies for market expansion, sales tactics, and promotional campaigns.Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation, closing, and post-sale support. Ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of industry developments. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership.Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of business solutions.Track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and progress toward goals. Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities, wins, and areas of improvement.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to raise brand awareness and attract new business.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in [specific industry, e.g., technology, healthcare, finance] is preferred.
