Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.
Promoting and presenting the products/services to required stakeholders / institutions as required by the organisation.
Creating and delivering proposals, contracts, and quotations that meet the client's / vendor's (manufacturer/service provider association) needs and expectations.
Negotiating and closing deals with clients, and ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborating with the sales team on the pipeline and reporting on sales performance and progress.
Researching and attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate new leads.
Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the sales process or after the delivery of the services/ products.
Keeping up to date with the latest developments and innovations in the industry and applying them to improve the organization's services.
Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships and collaboration with different service providers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Providing Regular feedback and reports to the senior management on the sales performance, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business/ marketing, (MBA preferred)
Strong technical knowledge & understanding of technologies like E-learning, IT Development and Service, IOT, Cloud, Big Data would be an added advantage.
Skills/ Experience:
5- 8 years experience in business Development in B2B & B2G vertical.
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Relationship building skills.
A solid understanding of the relevant market, trends, and best practices.
Leadership skills to manage a team of BDM professionals, Basic Project Management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, etc.
