Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with deep knowledge of Mumbai's rental real estate market. The ideal candidate will have strong connections with brokers, agents, and property managers, property owners and will drive strategic partnerships to accelerate Rentofly's entry into this sector. Your role will be to establish Rentofly as a trusted partner in the rental property industry, negotiate deals, and expand our footprint across Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities within the Mumbai rental real estate sector, including trends, challenges, and key stakeholders.
Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate brokers, property owners, and agents to drive property listings on the Rentofly platform.
Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and increase property listings, rentals, and long-term leasing deals.
Sales & Negotiations: Negotiate and close high-value deals with brokers, landlords, and other partners to expand Rentofly's presence in the market.
Brand Representation: Act as the face of Rentofly in Mumbai's real estate circles, representing the brand at events, meetings, and negotiations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Rentofly's leadership, marketing, and product teams to provide feedback on customer needs and market insights.
Sales Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while contributing to the overall business goals of the company.
Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations for growth and process improvements.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the Mumbai real estate rental market.
Network: Strong existing network of brokers, agents, property owners, and real estate professionals in Mumbai.
Real Estate Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Mumbai rental market, including current trends, regulatory landscape, and key players.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, negotiating deals, and managing client relationships.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with high-level stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi is essential; knowledge of Marathi and Gujrati is a plus.
