Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in distribution, direct sales, and inside sales within the SaaS or tech industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive business growth through building and nurturing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:Â Identify and target potential clients in the home decor industry, including homeowners, designers, and retailers. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand our market presence.
- Sales Management:Â Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. This includes direct sales, distribution channels, and inside sales efforts.
- Relationship Building:Â Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Market Analysis:Â Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the home decor visualization space. Use insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Collaboration:Â Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals. Provide feedback and insights to improve product offerings and customer experience.
- Reporting:Â Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics. Use data to drive decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience:Â Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on distribution, direct sales, and inside sales. Experience in the SaaS or tech industry is highly desirable.
- Skills:Â Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Education:Â Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Knowledge:Â Understanding of the home decor industry and visualization technology. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Travel:Â Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
