Roles and Responsibilities
At Havenhub, A Sales Team Leader is crucial in bridging the gap between individual BDEs and sales management. They directly supervise and support a team of business development executives( BDEs), who act as coaches, motivators, and strategic guides.
A sales team leader's key performance indicator is the sales (INR) they can drive through their team.
Here's a Breakdown Of Your Key Responsibilities
- Meet the sales target assigned to you and your team.
- Do sales yourself - we are looking for leaders and not managers. You will start out as an individual contributor first, and your team assignment will be linked to how well you perform as an individual.
- Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding: Assist in recruiting qualified BDEs, participate in the interview process, and onboard new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
- Coaching and Development: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to individual team members, identifying areas for improvement and helping them develop their skills. This can involve role-playing, call coaching, and feedback sessions.
- Building a Positive Team Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative, and competitive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated to succeed.
- Account Management: Oversee key leads assigned to the team, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Building Relationships: Work collaboratively with the BDEs to build strong customer relationships and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
