Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager - Domestic
Company: Survival Technologies
Location: Hyderabad
Salary Range: Based on experience and calibre
Requirements:
- 10+ years into domestic sales for specialty chemicals and Intermediates to Pharma and Pharma API companies.
- BD role only not a mix of BP + Procurement or BD + SCM or BD + OPS.
- The profile must have direct buyer connection with Pharma and Pharma API companies. They should be his/her POC for BD.
- Should have handled a revenue target of 40+CR per quarter.
- Should have also worked with the revenue assurance/collection teams.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and growth opportunities in the domestic chemicals sector.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events, to expand the company's customer base.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
- Product Promotion: Promote company products and services to target customers, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while protecting company interests.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales and delivery processes.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from customers regarding product performance, service quality, and overall satisfaction, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses, presenting findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
