We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network in the cybersecurity industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand the customer base within the cybersecurity sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their cybersecurity needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our cybersecurity products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify market opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management on sales activities and pipeline status.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our cybersecurity offerings and expand our market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
