Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in IoT solutions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting our IoT solutions to key prospects in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IoT sector within assigned geographical areas or industry verticals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and proposing suitable IoT solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to design customized IoT solutions based on client needs.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our IoT offerings.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to close sales and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to the management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development or sales of IoT solutions, preferably within the technology or telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of IoT technologies, applications, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling fleet management, telematics, or related solutions would be advantageous.
