Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our information technology staffing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding our market presence. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored solutions.
4. Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless and efficient staffing process, from candidate sourcing to placement.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion.
6. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
7. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and clients.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, resolve any issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
9. Stay updated with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
10. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, promote the company, and generate leads.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the information technology staffing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of the IT industry, including emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor activities.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
5. Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, resulting in revenue growth.
6. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to understand client needs and provide effective solutions.
8. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
10. Willingness to travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new markets.
