Position Overview:
Genius Kidz is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving sales and expanding our market presence in the K-12 education sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a proven track record in sales, business development, and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the K-12 education sector.
2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building with school administrators, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and sales collateral to support business development efforts.
4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the K-12 education market.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
6. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase Genius Kidz products and services.
7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes for both parties.
8. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, tracking progress against sales goals and objectives.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and best practices in education technology, robotics, and AI to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
10. Represent Genius Kidz at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the K-12 education sector.
3. Strong understanding of the K-12 education market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
6. Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
7. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
10. Willingness to travel extensively within India as needed.
