Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team(Freshers can also apply). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication, relationship-building, and strategic selling techniques. This role requires a results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should understanding the strategies involved to improve online and offline sales for a brand.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our agency by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. The New Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, developing strategies to target clients, and building relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven track record of success in sales in a competitive environment.

Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to deal closure.

Strong understanding of email marketing principles and digital marketing strategies.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Making outbound calls to potential customers

Developing new leads; requirement gathering; qualifying opportunity

Liaise with the Sales Head, OEMs, Distributors, and customers as deemed necessary

Creating and maintaining customer database /CRM tool

Communicating with customers for quotations, follow-ups, and updates

Maintaining a healthy opportunity pipeline with decent margins as guided

Closing sales and achieving targets & quotas

Keep abreast of technologies via sales training, certifications & workshops

Stay updated with industry trends, marketing strategies, and emerging offline avenues to provide insights to clients.

Willingness to travel within India as needed.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation

Leverage social media, cold calling, email, events, etc. to identify potential leads

Continuously build a robust pipeline of prospective accounts and contacts

Uncover decision-makers and key influencers in prospective accounts

Research accounts to understand their needs and pain points

2. Initiating Contact

Draft customized emails and cold call scripts to introduce your company

Make a great first impression and develop rapport with prospective clients

Ask insightful questions to understand their challenges and requirements

Qualify prospects by assessing needs, budget, and decision-making process

Propose next steps and request meetings to progress opportunities

3. Conducting Presentations & Demos

Prepare tailored presentations and sales proposals for client meetings

Travel to client locations to make formal sales presentations and product demos

Handle all client questions and objections confidently and patiently

4. Negotiation & Closing

Address client concerns and negotiate on pricing or contract terms

Highlight product USPs, ROI, and value proposition for the client

Finalize and execute contracts, agreements, and payment schedules

5. Sales Planning & Reporting

Consistently update CRM with all prospect and client interactions

Leverage CRM insights to analyze sales pipeline and activities

Track and monitor key sales metrics like lead conversion rates

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENT

Excellent sales record and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in understanding and selling Digital Marketing Services, SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, content marketing, website design & email marketing and web development.

Ideally worked at a digital agency and IT firm.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as provide support within a team environment.

Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coordinate tasks, set priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative - we don't hire backgrounds; we hire top producers.

Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor's Degree
