Job Description:
LPES International is seeking experienced and strategic Business Development Managers to join our corporate team in Gurugram. This role is essential for driving business development and strengthening corporate relationships across diverse sectors, including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, automotive, electronics, cement, construction, EPC, renewable energy, telecommunications, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients, stakeholders, and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, ensuring their needs are met and fostering positive relationships.
- Business Strategy and Planning: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships that align with the companys corporate goals. Develop and execute business development strategies to enhance corporate client acquisition and retention.
- Client Acquisition and Retention: Proactively seek out new corporate clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through effective account management and tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and contracts to corporate clients. Negotiate terms and agreements to close deals and establish favorable terms for both parties.
- Market and Industry Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Use insights gained from analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, product development, and customer support to ensure client needs are met and align business development strategies with overall corporate objectives. Coordinate with various departments to deliver customized solutions and services to corporate clients.
- Client Feedback and Improvement: Gather corporate clients feedback to identify areas for improvement in products or services. Work with internal teams to address any issues and implement changes based on client feedback.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and business development efforts. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on business development activities, performance, and client status.
- Brand Representation and Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster business relationships. Engage in networking activities to expand the companys corporate client base and industry connections.
- Compliance and Contract Management: Ensure that all business dealings and contracts comply with legal and corporate standards. Manage contract renewals and ensure that all terms are met as per agreements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development, particularly with corporate clients in the electrical products sector.
- MBA degree from a recognized institution. Expertise in marketing and sales.
- Government Relations: Strong understanding of and network within government departments and industrial sectors.
- Tender Management: Proven experience in handling tender processes and securing government contracts.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, excellent communication abilities, and strong negotiation skills.
- Travel: Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across various regions in India.
Selection Process:
The selection process will involve four rounds:
- Round 1: Virtual Q&A session to assess your qualifications and suitability for the role.
- Round 2: Virtual presentation, where you will present a case study demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Round 3: Virtual role-playing exercise to evaluate your communication and negotiation skills.
- Round 4: Final in-person interview with senior management at our Gurugram office.
