Job Title: E-commerce business manager

Overview:

As an E-commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to drive online sales, enhance user experience, and maximize the overall digital presence of the company. This position requires a blend of business acumen, technical proficiency, and creative thinking to ensure the success of the e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align e-commerce initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative approaches.
  1. Website Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring functionality, user-friendliness, and optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage product listings, pricing, and promotions.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to address technical issues and implement site enhancements.
  1. Customer Experience:
  • Monitor and enhance the overall user experience on the e-commerce platform.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including personalized recommendations, easy navigation, and responsive customer support.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for optimizing the online shopping experience and increasing conversion rates.
  1. Inventory and Fulfillment:
  • Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure accurate product availability and stock levels.
  • Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  1. Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations and standards.
  • Implement security measures to protect customer data and maintain a secure online shopping environment.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, payment processors, and logistics partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, online payment gateways.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
