The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development within the IP industry, with a deep understanding of patent, trademark, and copyright services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that enhance our market presence and client base in the field of intellectual property.
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify potential clients and key decision-makers in target companies. Develop and nurture relationships with clients to understand their IP needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets. Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our service offerings and market positioning.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including legal, technical, and marketing departments to develop cohesive strategies and deliver integrated solutions. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote our IP services and build a strong network of contacts. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems. Prepare regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
