Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sales and marketing efforts for our OTC (Over-The-Counter) pharma products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing relationships with retail chains, distribution outlets, and other key stakeholders in the pharma industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Head the sales initiatives for OTC pharma products, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Market Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans to penetrate and expand market share.Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail chains, pharmacies, and distribution outlets to promote product placement and sales.Product Promotion: Plan and execute promotional activities to increase brand awareness and product visibility in the market.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key clients and distributors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration.Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing of OTC pharma products, with a strong track record of success.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the OTC pharma market, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and distribution channels.Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team, with a hands-on approach to driving results.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
