Institute of Technical and Scientific Research (ITSR), established in 2014, is a premier organization based in Jaipur. ITSR provides a platform for Working Professionals to connect with Entrepreneurs, Industry Leaders, Researchers, and Peers to explore associations and collaborations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients needing patent services such as startups, research institutions, and tech firms.
  2. Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads, including cold calling, networking, and digital marketing.
  3. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their IP needs.
  4. Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitors to position your company effectively in the market.
  5. Collaboration: Work with patent attorneys, agents, and other internal teams to deliver client solutions.
  6. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed revenue targets and business growth goals.
Skills:
  • Sales and Negotiation: Strong ability to close deals and negotiate service agreements.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely.
  • Networking: Ability to grow a network within industries that heavily rely on patents, like pharmaceuticals, biotech, or technology.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) for patent services at ITSR. The BDM will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting ITSR's patent services. This role is based in Jaipur with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Knowledge of patent services and the intellectual property industry
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze trends
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
