Business Development Manager / Engineer - Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Identify potential marketing partners in various regions in India.
Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives.
Prepare ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Develop ways to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty.
Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
Report on successes and areas needing improvements.
Participating in exhibitions, networking with existing and new customers and other potential contacts.
Develop an understanding of relevant sectors and how they are likely to respond.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales and marketing executive or a relevant role, in the textile / capital machine industry
Proven sales track record.
Good computer skills (MS Office)
Proficiency in English.
Communication and negotiation skills.
Time management and planning skills.
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing the deal.
Ability to build rapport.
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
BE in Electrical/Mechanical, Bachelors in Textile Technology; Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
