Job Description: Business Development Executive/Sr. Business Development Executive
Territory: New Business & Account Management (India & Bangladesh)
Role Overview
This Business Development role is part of the sales team based in our Bangalore office that is tasked with selling into India and Bangladesh region. It is a commercially driven role with a key responsibility of generating sales revenue with new clients in the region. This role involves working with a diverse set of organizations across multiple sectors/industries such as FMCG, B2B companies, Financial & Professional services companies and selected Governmental organizations. The successful candidate will demonstrate commercial awareness as well as a keen interest in, and knowledge of, consultative sales.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- This role involves end to end sales process from lead gen to deal closure and account management
- Engaging with prospects and existing clients through proactive outreach via phone and in-person interactions
- Territory planning & prioritization.
- Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets
- Sales plan implementation - identify key sponsors, influencers and decision-makers at target companies and ensure that you understand their roles and objectives, and that they understand the benefits and applications of using data and insight
- Client Relationship - Manage ongoing client relationships with accounts through the entire sales process, negotiation, and procurement
- Targeting new organization and converting them progressing them successfully into existing client base
- Attainment of new business and renewal revenue target
- Experience - 3-5 years preferably in market research and business consulting solutions industry
Skill Required:
- An outstanding personal sales track record
- Proven experience of selling to large multi-national organizations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Intelligent, able to solve problems, and react positively to change
- Tenacity, drive, and resilience
- Commercial awareness
- A targets-driven approach to work
- Experience in strategic market information sales/ Consultative selling, business development etc
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Fluency in oral and written English is a must. Fluency in other Indian languages will be an advantage
