We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Feedstock Procurement Specialist to join our Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential sources of raw materials such as agricultural residues, waste oils, and other bio-based feedstocks.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed procurement decisions.
- Supplier Identification and Relationship Management:
- Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of raw materials.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers and implement improvements as needed.
- Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's production goals and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent and reliable supply of raw materials to meet production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future supply needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure the raw materials meet the required standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and control costs associated with raw material procurement.
- Sustainability and Compliance:
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Promote sustainable procurement practices and support the company's sustainability goals.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in the energy sector or related industry.
