Position Title: Education Counsellor (Business Development Executive)
Reports To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Education Counsellor (Business Development Executive) to join our team. The primary role of this position is to develop and expand our business within the education sector by providing expert guidance to prospective students and clients. This individual will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships, and creating opportunities to increase our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Identify and engage with potential students and clients through various channels (e.g., online platforms, events, seminars, direct outreach).
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students and clients.
- Conduct initial consultations to understand clients educational needs and career aspirations.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales through effective follow-up and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to create and implement promotional campaigns.
- Guidance and Counselling:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to students and parents regarding educational programs, admission requirements, and career opportunities.
- Assist students in making informed decisions about their education and career paths.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, educational programs, and new developments.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, partners, and stakeholders.
- Attend networking events, seminars, and conferences to represent the company and establish new connections.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve business strategies and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or education counselling.
- Strong knowledge of the education sector and admission processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an educational institution or consultancy firm.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
