Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Edtech sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase our Edtech solutions to potential clients.
- Sales and Negotiation:
- Achieve sales targets by successfully closing deals with educational institutions, corporate training centers, and other relevant organizations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and ensure client satisfaction.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the Edtech sector.
- Strong understanding of the education market and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
