  • Role Brief-:

Business Development is mainly responsible for identifying new opportunities for business, maintaining, and enhancing existing business and making the most of the marketing strategies. The business development manager (BDE) is the first point of contact to all customers. The BDE shall actively respond to RFQ's, participate in tenders, and achieve the revenue targets in new markets as well as existing markets.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets, acquire new customers, new segments and achieve revenue targets.
Existing Market Upscaling:
  • Analyze existing market segments and customer accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue potential from existing clients and accounts.
  • Lead Generation Strategies:
Implement effective lead generation strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking events.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to generate inbound leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.


Inside Sales and International Business Coordination: Conduct inside sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations with prospects.
  • Coordinate international business activities, including communication with overseas clients, distributors, and partners.
Financial Closure:
  • Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions and documentation related to sales agreements.
  • Field Operations:
Coordinate field operations activities, including sales visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations.
  • Provide support and guidance to field sales representatives to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to inform sales strategies, pricing decisions, and product development efforts.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer preferences to anticipate market shifts and opportunities.



Product Price & Profitability
  • Assess market demand, value proposition, and competitive landscape to develop pricing strategies that balance profitability with market competitiveness.
  • Product Market Fit
    • Evaluate product-market fit by analyzing customer feedback, market demand, and competitive positioning.
    Collaborate with business head, product development teams to ensure alignment between product features, customer needs, and market expectations.
    • Provides advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies.
    Team Building & Leadership:
    • Build and lead high-performing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
    • Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

    Proven track record of success with 5+ years of work experience in business development roles, with a focus on customer relationship management and new business acquisition.

    Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.

    Experience in international business terms and coordination, including knowledge of export/import regulations and cultural considerations.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.

    Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, able to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions to drive business growth.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales tools and technologies.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: 400,000.00 - 750,000.00 per year
