Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the firm's client base and market presence within the structural steel detailing sector.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including architects, engineers, contractors, and developers, to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted promotional materials, presentations, and proposals to effectively communicate the firm's capabilities and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients to secure new projects and partnerships, ensuring terms align with the firm's objectives and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance the firm's competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and design professionals, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand visibility and establish thought leadership in the structural steel detailing market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the construction industry, with a focus on structural steel detailing services.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
