Job Description

Overview

The Real Estate Business Development Head is responsible for driving the company's growth and expansion in the real estate sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives that enhance the company's market position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve the company's growth objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Partnership and Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, real estate agents, and corporate clients.
    • Negotiate and finalize deals with potential partners, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of development projects from inception to completion.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, marketing) to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Monitor the financial performance of development projects, ensuring they meet or exceed budgetary and profitability targets.
    • Prepare and present detailed business plans, financial projections, and investment proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Brand and Market Presence:
    • Enhance the company's brand visibility and reputation in the real estate market.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and attract new business.
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the real estate industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and trends.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in financial analysis and project management.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
