Job Overview
PurpleTutor, an education management company, is hiring a Business Development Associate (WFH) to join our team. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of PurpleTutor's online learning platform. This is a full-time remote position, with a required mid-level experience of 1 to 3 years. The job location is Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education or ed-tech industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients to promote PurpleTutor's online learning platform
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as schools, parents, and educational institutions
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet sales targets and expand market reach
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of new clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors activities to identify business opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PurpleTutor's sales and marketing strategies
