What You'll Do
- Market Exploration: Dive deep into research, identifying key organizations and decision-makers across potential new markets. Spot the need gaps and seize new opportunities both online and offline.
- Competitive Edge: Analyse competitors, segment markets, and craft target audience personas. Your insights will help us connect with client pain points and tailor solutions that stand out.
- Client Partnerships: Collaborate closely with project and customer success teams to drive retention, up-sell, and cross-sell strategies, ensuring our clients success is our success.
- Outreach Mastery: Lead outreach efforts through cold-calling, emails, and meetings. Connect with investors for sponsorship and co-branding opportunities, maximizing our revenue potential.
- Brand Strategist: Build and maintain a positive brand image, creating awareness about GPPL among new clients and collaborators.
- Networking: Represent GPPL at conferences, meetings, and industry events, where you'll identify and secure valuable leads.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and refine sales collaterals, including sponsorship decks, marketing materials, and email flows for effective outreach and follow-up.
- Negotiation & Closure: Prepare and negotiate MOUs and agreements with sponsors, partners, and vendors. Ensure seamless billing and invoicing to maintain strong relationships.
- Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients via phone or email, setting up meetings and onboarding them to our platform. Your goal is to close deals that benefit all parties.
- Partnership Management: Secure and monitor partnerships, ensuring mutual value and growth. Your role is crucial in creating win-win situations.
- Lead Nurturing: Keep a pulse on leads, negotiating and renegotiating as necessary to drive closure and foster long-term growth.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in content consumption, to keep our offerings fresh and relevant.
- Revenue Optimization: Leverage the latest technology stacks, including CRM and sales automation, to streamline processes and maximize revenue.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate timely reports to track progress, measure success, and provide insights into market segments and industries.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in Business Development & Sales, particularly in content-focused companies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a must.
- MBA in Sales or a related Field is preferred.
- Certificate in Professional Sales is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM and Office Productivity Suites.
- Strong command of the English language; multilingual candidates are highly preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships.
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment where flexibility and multitasking are essential.
- Detail-oriented and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to monitor market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Good understanding of market research practices and marketing strategies.
