About the Role
We're seeking a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our team. In this remote role, you'll be responsible for client acquisition, understanding client needs, developing client relationships, and driving sales for our design services. You'll be the bridge between our talented design team and our valued clients, ensuring a smooth and successful project experience.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through various channels, such as cold emailing, social media marketing, and networking.
- Develop customized proposals that showcase Pencildot's design services and how they perfectly address the client's specific requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate client requirements into actionable projects.
- Negotiate and close contract agreements, ensuring clear communication and project expectations.
- Stay up-to-date on design industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Provide administrative support as well as excellent customer service and smooth communications.
- Maintain the database using your organizational skills to streamline processes and clean up the data.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in business development or a related field.
- Proven track record of lead generation and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Strong understanding of the graphic design industry and its value proposition.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using various online communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
