Job Description

As a Business Development Associate in IT Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and working closely with the sales and technical teams to close deals. Your primary focus will be on selling IT solutions and services to businesses, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and contributing to the long-term success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach via calls, emails, and social media.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their business needs and aligning them with suitable IT solutions.
  • Sales Pitching: Present and demonstrate IT products or services to clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions tailored to their specific business challenges.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to draft and deliver accurate, customized proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and execute plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Account Management: Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely post-sales support, addressing client concerns, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance metrics, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT sales, business development, or related roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT services, software solutions, and emerging technology trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with a proactive approach to meeting targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client pain points and propose effective IT solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, or other relevant IT sectors.
