JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT ROLE:
The role holder is responsible for Data Centre propositions development, packaging, and go-to-market (GTM) activities in support of Data Center Services & Solutions strategy. The individual will be responsible for Identifying potential customers, Customer Solutions, RFP response, identifying the market size, preparation of Data Centre Solution plans, and assisting in pricing recommendations for the defined service portfolio. He or she will also develop and deliver the strategy and roadmap for the data centre services portfolio.
KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
- Responsible for identifying relevant clients & Partners, client RFP response, compliance documents, and submittals as required.
- Responsible for developing a customized solution based on Build-to-Suite, Colocation & Hyperscalers, Enterprise customers, Hosting solutions & various service offerings for individual clients requirements.
- Responsible for Customers SLA provisioning, KPIs as applicable, and deliverables from the initiation with the client to the handover stage.
- Responsible and aware of Design pre-requisites in coordination with the SMEs for each discipline internally to provide the solution offered to the client as a combined package offered to the client.
- Develop Service offering Models and Pricing mechanism
- Stays updated on relevant industry, technology, and market trends and combines this with a needs analysis of prospective customers and market segments to identify winning propositions that deliver to the business unit objectives of revenue, retention, innovation.
- Identify, develop, and evaluate Go to Market strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, cost, and markup factors.
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our companys relationship with them.
- Implement market definition and discovery studies and analysis of the findings.
- Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Manage new features or Solutions development projects following internal Time to Market (TTM) methodology.
- Ensure high levels of quality and the customer experience in launched Solutions through documented, simple, and well-tested sales, provisioning, and support processes
- Responsible for presales solution designing, RFP, and continuous improvement, leveraging a data-driven approach; for hyperscale & enterprise customers.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 7-12 years of experience in business development with minimum 3 years in Data Centre
- Having worked with Data Center Hyperscale/Colocation players, Enterprise customers in the past is a must with solutioning background.
- Experience in managing the Data Centre portfolio is mandatory.
- Knowledge of principles and requirements for Hyperscale/Collocation Data Centre Solution services.
- Knowledge in Data Centre design and project management.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Qualification - Engineering / Commerce / Economics Degree from a recognized university.
- Preferred Qualification Masters in Business Administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
- Certification by a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
