Position overview: Business Development Associate

We're on the lookout for a driven and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team! If you're passionate about building relationships and creating growth opportunities, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue potential clients in the insurance industry, focusing on our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends and competitive landscape, providing insights that help shape business development strategies.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Identify client needs and recommend suitable products or solutions to meet their insurance requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on business development initiatives and overall company goals.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on business development activities, analyzing data to optimize performance and improve results.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance sector.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance products and market dynamics; knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and market trends to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office, and other digital tools relevant to business development.
