Job Description

Job Title: Business Consultant

Work Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Job Overview:

As a Business Consultant, you will be responsible for advising organizations on how to leverage technology to achieve their business objectives. You will analyze the client's business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technological solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation:
  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes and technology infrastructure.
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

  • Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Design custom technology solutions tailored to the client's specific needs.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of technology solutions.
  • Provide training and support to client teams on new systems and tools.

  • Ongoing Support and Optimization:
  • Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and ensure they meet client expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide proactive recommendations.

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.

  • Product Messaging and Positioning:
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning statements.
  • Develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and value propositions for the product.

  • Campaign Management:
  • Plan and execute product launch campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and events.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.

  • Product Messaging and Positioning:
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning statements.
  • Develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and value propositions for the product.

  • Sales Enablement:
  • Develop sales tools and training materials to support the sales team.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure sales teams are well-equipped to articulate the product's benefits.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product management, sales, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing-related inquiries and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product marketing
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business consulting, technology consulting, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering technology projects.

  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • This position may require travel to client sites, both domestically and internationally.
