Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Business Application Manager to join our Business Application Management team in Group IT. This role is essential in providing application management and business support to users in TORM's offices globally. The successful candidate will handle user setup, documentation, escalation of support tickets, coordination with vendors for support, resolution of technical issues, and support change management activities, including documentation and user training.

Responsibilities

Application Management:

  • Handle user setup, documentation, second level support, and escalation of support tickets to thirdparty vendors on a variety of business applications.
  • Assist in analyzing and documenting user requirements.
  • Support change management activities, including documentation and user training.
  • Coordinate with vendors for support and resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to business application management activities.
  • Provide administrative support within the Business Application Management team.
  • Act as a backup for colleagues within the Business Application Management team.
  • Participate in general activities within the Business Application Management team.
  • Perform controls of business applications as applicable.

Qualifications

Professional Education and Experience:

  • Relevant education or certification in IT or related field.
  • Practical work experience in administrative roles, preferably in IT or application management.
  • Grounded technical understanding of IT applications.
  • Proficiency in English for business communication with global teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant IT service management processes.
  • Experience in using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.

Personal Skills:

  • Proactive and detail-oriented working approach.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
