Job Description
Reporting to the Analytics Lead for the Partnerships functional area, the Data Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including company-wide data modelling, business intelligence and decision support for the Partnerships team.
You will build and maintain Tableau dashboard solutions for the Partnerships functional area and contribute to the Analytics delivery road-map as required. Your key initial focus will be to take over data modelling tasks, the daily and weekly dashboard updates and deliver on dashboard change requests, with a longer-term goal of supporting all ad-hoc or business queries as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models using dbt and SQL that are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
- Run Python scripts as part of the dashboard update process
- Encourage self-service analytics and consistent, high-quality metrics by building and maintaining Tableau Dashboards (e.g. bugs, visualisations, calculated fields)
- Migration of Tableau Prep flow logic to Python
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to meet the expectations.
- Maintain documentation, manage change and technical debt, and ensure that our stack can scale.
Create and update JIRA tickets as part of project and task tracking
Job Requirements
- Data Modelling for modern cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
- dbt experience
- Intellectually curious and passionate about asking questions
- Analytical
- Keen to solve problems
- Meticulous and detail oriented
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills; ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external parties
- Eager to contribute and get things done
- Able to work with a high degree of independence and exercise good judgement
- Experience in Tableau Desktop and any data flow tools (like Tableau Prep, Alteryx or similar)
- Experience in building and maintaining dashboards
- Experience in SQL to query and perform analysis
Desirable:
- Experience in data modelling to design, build and maintain reporting structures in a database
- Experience in R/Python and deploying production code
- Data Science exposure through direct involvement or building data pipelines / models for it
Airflow to orchestrate data ingestion and transformation tasks

Tableau development experience is also very important (together with other data visualisation tools as a bonus)
