Team Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us in our Chandigarh office. In this role, you will work on our EquiLend Spire product and client integrations.
You will collaborate closely with Senior BAs, development teams and software testers to ensure the successful integration and ongoing improvements of EquiLend Spire for our clients. This role is suited for someone detail-oriented, precise, articulate, and accurate, with a desire to work on system data integration projects.
EquiLend Spire is a state-of-the-art platform and technology-driven hub for securities finance firms, featuring modules that cater to specific client needs across the front, middle, and back office. Our product is used by many financial institutions to streamline their securities finance needs.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with developers to clarify detailed specifications and designs.
- Take responsibility for projects managing project tasks; ensure milestone dates are met on time and on-budget with a high degree of quality, driving consensus at all stages of the product lifecycle
- Ability to understand the why behind product changes and translate this for development teams to build and implement
- Work with testers to validate the developed code
- Coordinate with senior internal BA's and client BA's on requirements and delivery
- Design and create workflows, flowcharts, and relevant documentation of requirements for the business team, developers and QA and ensure viability and accuracy of designs
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive effective business decision-making.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of relevant commercial experience as a product focused Business Analyst
- Requirements preparation such as gathering, documenting, gaining consensus, and facilitating discussions with business, development & QA
- Experience with a structured development methodology (such as agile user stories, acceptance criteria, mock-ups, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to handle complex information with accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, facilitate discussions and interact effectively with all levels both internally and externally
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
